Lord, Thank you for these chosen ones who have the courage to say 'yes' to your plan for their lives. Grant them Holy discernment in these days of preparation and experience in the joys of service.
Father, I lift up each one of our cadets by name - knowing that with each name you will bless them just as they need it at this time. Joanne & Peter Brookshaw Rachael Collins Allison Dalton Malcolm & Priah Dean Leah & Scott Ellery Kim & Steve Haworth Alison & Gareth MacDonald Pauline Petersen Jennifer & Nathan Rowe Aaron Stobie Debbie Wilson
Darren & Megan Aitken David Davis Chris Footer Erica & Peter Jones June Knop Peter McMaster Johnmark & Nicole Snead
Lord, Thank you for each of them. For saying yes send me. Strengthen them, open their eyes and ears to those around them. Bless them and protect them as they bring your light into the darkness.
Our Lord and Saviour - I thank You so much for these guys that have given up everything for You and for what You have in plan for their lives in bringing glory to You.
In a world full of darkness, I ask that You will allow them to shine a light so bright that the enemy is blinded, and we are released from the blindness that he is placing on the world.
Please place a special annointing upon all of their lives and really bless them for stepping forward for You in this world that is so desperate for You.
Thank You Lord for all these people, surround them with all that they need, now and in the future, protect them, make them all You want them to be. In Jesus' Name we ask it. Amen.
Father, I bring before you each cadet and their families. I pray that they will know the peace that comes when you say yes to Jesus.
I pray that they are able to look forward to challenges that will come there way with an attitude that says "I can do all things through Him who gives me strength."
I pray that they will be motivated by the love of Jesus to reach out in love to the millions who are suffering and to those who don't know Jesus. I pray that they are motivated by the fact that God has called them to ease suffering in Jesus name and to introduce them to Jesus. Amen
I pray for each of the cadets that you will give them peace and assurance of your constant presence and purpose for their lives. I also pray for the second years who have just finished their placements as they return to study and the remainder of the year I pray that they will keep their focus on you Jesus.
1 Peter 2:9 But you are the ones chosen by God, chosen for the high calling of priestly work, chosen to be a holy people, God's instruments to do his work and speak out for him, to tell others of the night-and-day difference he made for you— (Message) Grace & Peace
Feel free to add your prayer points, a verse or two that has touched you, some words of encouragement. Whatever lets surround the Salvation Army in Prayer.
Psalm 5:1-3 says.....Give ear to my words, O LORD,
consider my sighing.
Listen to my cry for help,
my King and my God,
for to you I pray.
In the morning, O LORD, you hear my voice;
in the morning I lay my requests before you
and wait in expectation.
